The First Responder Whiskey Society ended its first year with a bang. We sold 4 barrels of whiskey and raised $12,833 for families of fallen first responders. As we transition into this new year, we’ve decided to double down and go from whiskey drinkers that donate to a non-profit charity group that loves to drink.

We recently filed for non-profit status and are ramping up our operations to work for some great charities and pick some excellent whiskey for our members.  Here are just a few of the things we have planned this year:

  • Raffles for excellent bottles of whiskey
  • Online and in-person whiskey tastings
  • Whiskey Education!
  • We will begin accepting tax-deductible donations and where our members can receive swag and whiskey raffle entries just for being a part of the club
  • Member meet up in Washington DC for National Police Week in May
  • Member meet up on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail in late summer

All of this is possible because of all the wonderful and caring first responders from our group.  You can help us by sharing the good word about our causes, inviting people into the Facebook group to grow our membership, and drinking our wonderful whiskey picks for charity!
