End of Watch: June 4, 2021

The First Responder Whiskey proudly presents the WhistlePig Rye Whiskey Barrel Pick for our fallen members and friends Jamie Huntley-Park and Ryan Park. Jamie and Ryan were founding members of FRWS and Jamie was a moderator for our Facebook group. Jamie had a passion for whiskey and WhistlePig in particular. When Jamie and Ryan ended their watch, Laura Leon, the WhistlePig Steward of the Brand heard of their tragic story and reached out to FRWS. WhistlePig Whiskey Single Barrels are highly allocated and difficult to obtain, yet the brand pulled a special barrel from their rickhouse to honor Jamie and Ryan.

The proceeds from the sale of this barrel are going to the San Diego Angel Girls Hockey team. Jamie was a coach for the team, and they started a scholarship as a tribute to her. The scholarship assists young women that want to pursue college opportunities, careers in police work or crime lab, or hockey officiating.  The scholarship can be found here.
